Are you sure you want to delete this playlist?
What's this?
Well: try and drag the slider left and right to choose how happy and
upbeat (or dark and menacing!) you want your track to sound.
Tweak until happy!
Or sad. (ok, bad joke).
And this?
Sort of the same, but here you get to decide how aggressive or relaxed you need your music to be.
"Mood" is a subjective idea, but we can all tell the difference in energy between Metallica and Enya.
Can we?
Now…
Here's something truly unique to SPEAR: you can choose what your track should do FOR YOU!
By selecting one of these Smart Shapes, you can decide if your music shall have one or two changes of pace, do a huge build up, or just sit happily in the background.

FAQ’S
SPEAR is totally different from any other Music Library you will find. You will be surprised by the search results, and find the perfect track, maybe in a style you would have not considered on your own. If you know what you need, but are not sure what you want, we’re here to help.
We aim to cut in half the time it normally takes to find the perfect track. At SPEAR you can search music without the need for abstract concepts -such as genre, emotion, style or mood- that vary significantly for each of us, but according to what you need. Choose how light or dark you want your music to sound, select how much energy you need, and what your music should do, and watch your results appear in real time below.
To whatever you want! For instance, try dragging the energy slider to 8 and the colour to 3, select the shape Build-Up, and see what happens: you might get a Hard House track next to a fast Orchestral piece, and then a 60′s Soul music track. Try them against your visuals and expect the unexpected.
Yes. It’s super easy: click here.
Sure: click here. We follow PRS Production Music Rate Card; you can download it here.
We are working deals right now with distributors around the world. If you live outside the UK, please get in touch directly at hello@spear-music.com
The short answer is: no. SPEAR is for professionals in film, advertising and television. We are a PRS for Music library and we sell licenses to use our music through them. We don’t sell to individuals, or organisations, that don’t have an account with PRS.
We have a carefully selected roster of composers that we know and trust. They have been nominated for Grammys, worked with the biggest names in the industry, and scored feature films and major advertising campaigns around the world.
